Rules

Short, because the rules are simple. When in doubt, we reject and refund the payment — a $1 listing is never worth the risk.

What can't be listed

  1. List something a maker launches, with a public URL: your product, app, game, site, repo, template, or course — its own site, a Product Hunt page, a GitHub repo, an App Store / Google Play / Steam / itch.io page.
  2. The page must BE the thing. Parked domains and bare waitlists with no discernible product behind them are held for review, and usually rejected.
  3. No invite links. No discord.gg, t.me, chat.whatsapp.com, wa.me, signal.group, m.me. The destination is opaque and can change after you pay, which is how phishing works. We reject these automatically.
  4. No porn. No adult platforms. No sexual content of any kind.
  5. Nothing aimed at minors beyond an ordinary all-ages product. Zero tolerance, and we reject on doubt.
  6. No trading signals, token launches, pump rooms, or anything promising returns. A finance or crypto TOOL with no return promise is fine. A room selling profit is not.
  7. No gambling or betting services. A fantasy-sports app with no wagering is fine. A bookmaker or a tipster is not.
  8. No piracy, cracked software, account marketplaces, or any marketplace for weapons, drugs, or stolen data.
  9. If it's built to target, harass, or scam people, it doesn't belong here.
  10. Don't claim to be the official app of a brand or person unless you obviously are. We'll strip the claim or reject the listing.
  11. Short links are resolved and we store the destination. If the destination breaks a rule, the listing is rejected.

How it works

  • Anyone can list any public launch page. You don't need permission to link to a public page, and the $1 floor is the anti-griefing filter.
  • The URL is the identity for the day. Pay into the same URL on the same day and it adds to the same listing. Forty fans × $5 beats one founder × $150.
  • Rank is the total raised today. Ties go to whoever got there first. The top 20 get numbered ranks; everything else is listed in the tail below.
  • The board resets every day at 00:00 UTC. The day's final standings are archived forever at /day/that-date, and tomorrow starts blank. Nothing carries over — a day is atomic.
  • The same URL can launch again on a later day as a new listing — a relaunch is a new launch.
  • Listings on known launch platforms go live the moment payment lands. Everything else is auto-reviewed within a couple of minutes; unclear cases wait for a human.
  • Outbound links from the board are rel=sponsored — they are paid placements and we mark them the way Google requires. We sell placement and eyeballs, never 'SEO juice'.
  • No refunds. If we remove a listing for breaking a rule — whenever we find out — there is no refund. A verified owner asking for their page to be removed wins, also without refund, and it goes on the public takedowns log.
  • Listings are immutable after approval. No edit button, no dashboard. Got a problem? Use feedback.
